The Agility Square improves footwork, explosiveness and change-of-direction ability. The Fitness Camp features the Agility Square in many of its online personal training workouts, including Power & Agility structured workouts and Active Recovery Days.
How To Do It
1. Arrange four cones in a square, with sides up to five yards in length.
2. Beginning at the cone indicated by your trainer, move quickly in the prescribed pattern, either by sprinting, shuffling, backpedaling or carioca.
Online Personal Trainer Tip
1. Be sure to tap the tops of the cones in order to control your changes of direction. This small action can help prevent ankle injury.
