About Us

Head Personal Trainer - Todd Whitaker, NSCA-CPT, ACE

TODD WHITAKER is an NSCA-certified personal trainer, an ACE-certified group fitness instructor, a Crossfit-certified trainer, and a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Immersed in sports and fitness since the age of seven, he was a multi-sport prep athlete and played college baseball at the University of Iowa. Todd is The Fitness Camp's head trainer, responsible for designing and implementing programs that deliver maximum results with a minimum time investment, while relieving the boredom often associated with common exercise routines. Utilizing concepts from professional sports training, Olympic lifting, police and military training, a wide variety of exercise research, and the consistent input of TFC clients and staff, Todd strives to deliver a fun, effective fitness program to everyone, regardless of fitness level.

 

 


Personal Trainer - Dallas Brede, ACE

DALLAS BREDE is an ACE-certified group fitness instructor and member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He obtained a BA from The University of Iowa and moved to Southern California in 2005.  In addition to training at The Fitness Camp, he has competed in soccer, swimming and volleyball throughout his life. When not striving for physical success, Dallas enjoys his time with friends and family and good food.


 

 

Personal Trainer - Jonathan Wynne, ACE

JONATHAN WYNNE is an ACE-certified group fitness instructor and member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Jonathan graduated from California State University Long Beach with a Business Management degree, while competing in Summer League Basketball. Jonathan has been involved in fitness and personal training since 2005 and with The Fitness Camp since February of 2008. In addition to his fitness pursuits, Jonathan is a freelance photographer.

 

 

 

Personal Trainer - Jen Baker, ACE

JEN BAKER is an ACE-certified group fitness instructor with a BA in Kinesiology and Physical Education from California State University Long Beach. Jen has a teaching credential in physical education and has worked as both a physical education teacher and personal trainer. She has coached children of all ages in soccer, softball and basketball, and is a land sports specialist. In addition to her efforts at The Fitness Camp and Hot Mama Boot Camp, Jen plays soccer in a women’s league and enjoys hiking, biking, yoga and golf.

 

 

 

Registered Dietitian - Erin Silva

ERIN SILVA, MS, RD, CNSD, is the registered dietitian and nutrition guru at The Fitness Camp. When she's not advising participants at The Fitness Camp, she spearheads new product development at a nutritional supplement company. Prior to the supplement industry, she worked in the healthcare field, implementing nutrition programs and educating and counseling patients for the hospital’s bariatric program (including co-leading the support group) for weight loss surgery. In addition, she served as Chief Clinical Dietitian for acute care inpatients, diagnosing nutrition related conditions, educating patients about condition-specific diets, and coordinating patient care before hospital discharge. Erin has a master’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from N.Y.U. and a bachelor of science in nutritional science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She is a member of the American Dietetic Association and writes freelance articles for magazines.

 

 

Certified Massage Therapist - Paige Meyer

PAIGE MEYER, CMT, graduated as a massage therapist from the Health Works Institute in Bozeman, Montana, in August 2006. Set in the majestic Rocky Mountains, the program is a year-long comprehensive study of massage therapy, anatomy, physiology, and becoming a mindful presence. Paige is a professional member of and insured through the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and is nationally certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). When not maintaining her private practice or working with The Fitness Camp, she volunteers with the Heart Touch Organization, a group bringing compassionate touch to the ill and isolated members of our community. The benefits of massage therapy are numerous and include pain and stress management, injury prevention and recovery, and a powerful mind/body awareness. Paige believes massage therapy and bodywork are two of the most effective ways to heal the body and is honored to have individuals of any shape or size on her table. Paige has a bachelor’s degree in art and practices yoga.
